We never stayed at the hotel only rating the bar and Celly’s lounge service. Service very slow in the bar so went to the lounge. I wish I knew the server’s name because she was wonderful! The food we received from the restaurant (Northern Lights Eatery) was very good. Seems that the lounge is the place to go for a drink and a meal.
My family’s stay at the Westwood was pleasant considering it was for a funeral. Rooms are dated but good, and clean. The restaurant staff were great, and the food came out quickly considering we were a large group. The service from hotel staff was excellent, bar one employee. The mess ups she caused from her front desk position was the reason for multiple visits to fix my credit card charges. Once different staff was involved, they dealt with it quickly and professionally. I truly feel for them, since their days must revolve around dealing with her mistakes. They do it with grace so it’s appreciated. I would give 5 stars for service if she hadn’t been involved in any capacity.
Really enjoyed my one night stay here. Staff were very friendly. Room had everything it needed. The pool, waterslide, and hot tub were definitely a high point (the nicest pool I've ever seen in a hotel). I really liked that I had a poolside room and could walk directly from my room to the pool. I definitely recommend getting a poolside room if you can. I will for sure be staying here again if I'm ever back in Swan River.
Good hotel experience. ( Also Has a pool) Rooms are comfortable and clean. Pleased with service as I had a problem with a room (207) having a loud broken AC that I couldn't sleep because of and front desk switched rooms without any fuss. And I was able to enjoy my sleep thankfully.
If you're wanting to carve powder in on of the most scenic trails in MB you should stay here. Affordable, great staff, great food. Sled right from parking lot to Paradise!
